How to get all NBA 2K22 Starter Cards?

1. Evolve your current NBA 2K22 Starter Card to Sapphire 85 OVR by scoring with them a total of 6 points cumulatively across different games.
2. Go to MyTEAM > Player Evolution.
3. Find your Starter Card, and then choose a path of Evolution.
4. Complete the listed tasks to evolve your card to Ruby 88 OVR.
5. Evolve your Starter to Ruby 88 OVR.

Once you successfully evolve your Starter Card to Ruby 88 OVR, a Lifetime Agenda will be completed. Its reward is a card of your choice from among the remaining Starter Cards. Rinse and repeat the steps above until you get all five MyTEAM Starter Cards. Of course, you'll also get other rewards like 2K22 MT and Tokens.

Ranking the 5 Starter Cards: Which is the best NBA 2K22 Starter Card?

Among the five, you might still want to choose carefully among them. In our opinion, we value these Starter Cards in the following order:

1. Trae Young: For those who've already got some in-game NBA 2K22 reps, you'll know that shooting is as most straightforward as it's ever been. If a player who can shoot is open, nine times out of 10, they're knocking it down. Additionally, small guards are way faster than taller players this year, making Young and Steph Curry feel as equally dangerous in-game as in real life. Pulling from deep with Young will be the easiest path of the five to Evo to Ruby and will be a breeze to run through Domination with.

2. Jayson Tatum: The second card that early returns have had a positive consensus on thus far is Jayson Tatum. At 6'8", this Tatum card has better shooting stats than expected when it was first announced he would be a Starter Card. An all-around beast to start with, Tatum could legitimately come off this list first for those not a fan of Young for whatever reason.

3. Zion Williamson: While Zion Williamson won't bring the shooting, he gets the interior presence that is an excellent complement to an already solid lineup.

4. Donovan Mitchell: Unfortunately for Donovan Mitchell, the main knock holding him back is that there are a handful of better shooting guard options out there already.

5. Nikola Jokic: Off the bat, typically the best way to go when starting in MyTeam is to have an uber-athletic big man that is a lob threat and a rebound/block collector. While this Nikola Jokic card is already neither of those archetypes, the reigning MVP isn't good at the things he's supposed to be good at either.

NBA 2K22 MyTeam Starter Card: Which Pack to Choose?

This is based on our own experience playing with these cards. Jayson Tatum performs well in our Domination Games, while we had difficulty completing Trae Young's and Nikola Jokic's respective Evolution Requirements. You may also start with Donovan Mitchell or Dion Williamson if you want, but our money's ultimately behind Tatum.

How To Pick Starter Player in NBA 2K22 MyTeam?

Here we give you some tips:

1. Choose the stater players who will be helpful on some challenges later.

2. Choose the starter players depending on your play style; then surely you will be playing them more smoothly and easily.

3. Pivot is an excellent pillar on which to start building a squad; pick the one you could not get a replacement in a short time.

4. Actually, the stater players are not the most relevant thing as you will get a better card soon. So if your favorite player is in one of these five starter packs, pick it because you will have the most fun MyTeam playing your favorite players.
